"A highly recommended class" This letter will serve to certify that Andrew Harvey has presented a one-day career development and promotional preparation course to the La Habra Police Department. Recently, Andrew Harvey presented his one-day leadership seminar for a group of managers at the Los Angeles Times. The seminar was based on his book, "The Call to Lead: How Ordinary People Become Extraordinary Leaders". The training was superb, both in content and presentation. Mr. Harvey used Power Point presentations, movie clips, and humor to impart key leadership strategies. This, coupled with his caring and fluid presentation style made for a very informative and fun day. I have experienced many other types of leadership classes, but many missed the mark. The Call to Lead seminar hits the target dead center, and the managers who attended walked away with an enormous amount of knowledge and important tools to help them succeed as leaders. I give Mr. Harvey's leadership seminar my highest recommendation. It is a class that all current and aspiring leaders should attend.
